Now days instead of traditional silver halide cameras, digital cameras are preferred by photographers. However, traditional cameras are also used. Along with camera, photographers need another set of equipments which include filters, lenses, flash and tripods to attach flash and lighting equipment. These equipments helps in improving the quality of photographs.

Images are captured electronically on digital cameras and they can be edited on computer using various photos enhancing software. These captured and edited images are stored on portable stores devices including compact disks, memory card in camera or flash. Images are captured through camera and then transferred on computer. Then photographers modify image, add special effects and enhance its quality using processing software. When final image is ready, it can be printed or can be sent anywhere in the world over internet.

In order to attract prospective customers, photographers also create portfolio of their work and show it on their webpage. Using digital photography technology, one can produce larger, colorful and accurate images. Such high quality images are used in photographic art, advertising, and research. In order to process images on his own, photographers should be proficient in the use of computers, editing software and quality printers.
