Eligibility and Qualification for Pharmacy Career:

In order to make career in pharmacy, one has to take Pharm.D. degree from recognized school or college of pharmacy. Bachelors degree in pharmacy is no longer awarded. It is replaced by Pharm.D. To get admission for Pharm.D. program, one has to complete at least 2 years of postsecondary study. There are also many colleges which offer masters degree and Ph.D. degree in pharmacy. Also to practice in the pharmacy in the States and all U.S. territories, you should have license. Pharmacy programs or courses are designed in such way that it covers all the features drug therapy. Along with this, students are also taught that how to communicate with patients as well as physicians about drug information and patient care. Concepts of public health, professional ethics, and medication distribution management are also taught in pharmacy programs and course.
